FAQs
How do I clean WaterColor Linens?
Our linens are 100% cotton and colorfast. Recommended care: spot treat, machine wash cold water with like colors, lay flat to dry.
Do WaterColor Napkins require ironing?
Ironing is a personal preference. These napkins are 100% cotton and therefore prone to wrinkling. For a crisp appearance, we recommend ironing on cotton setting.
What type of dyes do you use?
We use professional grade Procion dyes. While synthetic, they are largely non-toxic and through our process, have a low environmental impact. These dyes color the fibers on a molecular level, allowing them to stay vibrant even after many washes. Because the dyes do not lay on the surface like a stain, they are a safe option for those that have chemical sensitivities, and are not harmful to pets or children if chewed on. Use the button below to learn more about our dyes.
Can I use these baskets for plants?
You may use our baskets as you choose, however we do not recommend that our baskets be used as planters for the reason that they are cotton and not water resistant. If you choose to use them with your plants, we recommend that you use a plant liner. We are not responsible if damage occurs to the basket if used as a plant container.
Can I use these baskets to store food?
You may use our baskets as you choose, however, we do not recommend that you store unpackaged food in our baskets as food degrades and may damage the natural fibers of our baskets.
How do I clean these baskets?
Spot cleaning is always the first method that we recommend. Use mild detergent and rinse with cold water. Blot excess water, reshape, air dry. For small baskets that do not have a genuine leather strap, you may consider machine washing on cold water, short cycle, reshape and let air dry. Machine washing is not suitable for larger baskets or baskets with leather straps. Only attempt this method at your own risk. We do not recommend this method, and we will not be held responsible if damage occurs.
How do I clean rope coasters and mats?
