A few years ago, while designing our family’s new home, I had the perfect opportunity to start fresh with intentional decorating. With organization as a priority, I wanted a home that reflected our family’s lifestyle and values.

Drawing on my love for textiles, I began crafting custom storage baskets from cotton cord using a simple coil and stitch technique. This home project quickly grew into a passion, letting me explore shapes, textures and colors that made our space more inviting. Then, inspired by a friend’s suggestion, I started experimenting with ice-dying my cording, which took my baskets to a new level. I enjoyed the dying process so much that I began looking for more opportunities, and that led me to adding custom dyed linens to my collection, which coordinate beautifully with my baskets. This ice dying technique has allowed me to create a signature look.

Through selling my creations at local galleries and art fairs, I’ve found many people connect with my belief that a home should be filled with items that reflect who you are, and I’ve been privileged to help others create spaces that feel personal and comfortable.

Now, I’m on a mission to inspire others to curate homes that truly feel like theirs. I believe that a few well-crafted pieces can make a house feel warm and inviting. In my work, I aim to combine art with function, helping people turn their homes into comfortable havens!
